2'-Fucosyllactose (2'-FL) is a naturally occurring disaccharide that is an important component of HMOs and is thought to contribute to the health benefits of breast milk and has multiple biological activities, these include immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and anticancer activities. In addition, 2'-FL has been shown to have potential therapeutic applications in the treatment of various diseases and disorders.
